Our barges were built with you in mind. There's no sense of being 'just one of the crowd' on a barge cruise, with a small number of guests, no more than 22 on each sailing, and a dedicated and efficient crew to see to your every need. While this gives your holiday an intimate feel, as if you're sharing the experience with friends, not strangers, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy a little 'me' time.

Small yet perfectly formed, each barge features a terrace with loungers and a hot tub. On the deck below is the spacious restaurant and a separate lounge area, where you can enjoy a drink from the bar throughout the day and well into the evening. Your cabin is your own personal place of retreat and you can stay connected with the outside world via the on-board Wi-Fi system.

“A splendid relaxed holiday with other positive holidaymakers and , as usual, a really helpful crew. Having done all five barge holidays, this was up with the best, though the top place still goes to the Camargue from Sete to Arles. What a pity that there are no more for us to enjoy.

“The barge and crew were excellent, as was the food. The train travel was as expected (except for a change of station in Paris not known about by our travel guide thus incurring an unexpected walk with our luggage). Also, the travel guide did not know our boat was not moored in Dijon and transfer from the train to the boat was slightly chaotic taking over an hour longer than expected. Daily coach tours from the barge were mediocre. I reiterate that the barge and crew were brilliant
