Day 1 – A warm welcome in lively Worcester

Your holiday begins on arrival at your hotel in Worcester, conveniently located next to the train station. After meeting your Tour Manager and group, there's time to start exploring before dinner in the hotel. Worcester is a medieval city filled with history and surrounded by idyllic countryside, including the rolling hills and quaint villages of the Malverns.

Day 2 – Uncover the famed attractions of Worcester

Discover Worcester on a guided walking tour today, taking in the city's many excellent attractions. With your guide, you see the timber-framed Tudor buildings that line the old streets and the magnificent cathedral. Situated on the banks of the River Severn, this Anglican early-medieval cathedral showcases an eclectic blend of architectural styles, from Gothic to Norman. With some time at leisure after the tour, enjoy getting to know the city at your own pace. You could stop for an afternoon tea, enjoy shopping in the excellent boutiques, or visit the Museum of Royal Worcester to see the famous Worcester porcelain.

Day 3 – Unspoilt Broadway and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway to elegant Cheltenham

After breakfast, your coach takes you to Broadway this morning. A pretty village named the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', you have some time at leisure to discover its lovely High Street. Admire the horse chestnut trees and spot the mixture of period houses and picturesque Cotswold stone cottages. Your group then heads to the station to board the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway. The atmospheric journey through the countryside showcases some spectacular scenery and views of the Vale of Evesham on the way to Cheltenham.

You're at leisure over lunchtime in the delightful spa town. Known for its heritage and architecture, you could join a walking tour to see Cheltenham's most interesting buildings and monuments. Or, you could seek out one of the many beautiful parks in the town and spend the afternoon relaxing. There's also a wide choice of popular cafes, restaurants and street food where you can enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, your coach takes you back to your hotel where you have some time before dinner this evening.

Trains are steam-hauled where possible, however due to timetable changes or weather conditions, heritage diesel locomotives may be running instead.

Day 4 – Historic Bridgnorth and the vintage Severn Valley Railway

Your morning begins in Bridgnorth where you're at leisure to explore. The town is divided into two by the River Severn: the High Town and the Low Town. You could take a trip on the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway. This funicular railway takes passengers up and down the sandstone cliffs that separate the two parts of the town. It's the country's only inland funicular line and is also one of the steepest. After lunch, your group joins the Severn Valley Railway. The 16-mile route follows the winding path of the River Severn, with views of remote valleys that can only be seen by rail. A highlight of the journey is crossing the 200-metre Victoria Bridge, where you can enjoy excellent river views. From Kidderminster, you travel back to Worcester by coach.

Day 5 – Homeward bound

After breakfast, your holiday ends this morning. Once you've checked out and said goodbye to your group, you could make your way home or continue exploring the beautiful surrounding area on your own.
