It's also one of the narrowest points of the river with one of the strongest currents.

Due to late itinerary changes for Gl. Exp. day, we ended up with 12hr day and 4 rail changes.... not easy for a group aged 70+, when luggage had to be with us all day. Often seats in upper deck, and party in different carriages. Some connections, quite tight. ("Each room has a balcony" in Davos - not enjoyable at 9.30pm when we eventually got to our rooms. ( - then had to face a coffee machine without instructions.) Cruise generally 5*, BUT no advanced info on every excursion being inclusive with early starts. Thankfully, weather was lovely - Not a restful holiday, so would not book another.

The trip was good. We just didn't enjoy carrying around our luggage on all those trains..

Long train rides with frequent stops and train changes. Not enough time spent in featured towns. Nice scenery.

The train bit has killed my wife’s desire for train travel; changing trains five or six times a day is not our idea of a holiday . The river cruise was better but again, we didn’t get very long anywhere and we’d never do this again, or use this company again.

Great trip with featured rail outings and cruise. It came with challenges though as average age must have been 75

Communication prior to and during the trip was undesirable. You caused unnecessary anxiety with wrong information about our starting and end dates of our trip. Please don’t do this to your customers, especially when they have paid the full invoice of the trip
