In 2019, I joined the companys inaugural sailings and relished the challenge of looking after groups and co-ordinating an onboard team. What are some great features of the cruise ships youve worked on?The cruise itself is a superb experience onboard our luxurious ships, with stylish interiors, fine dining and impeccable service delivered by an amazing crew.Facilities include a sun deck with deck chairs & loungers, an international restaurant, a panoramic bar, a quiet lounge area, a fitness suite and a salon. Could you share highlights of cruising specific rivers?A personal favourite is the Danube from the elegance of Imperial Vienna, to the twin cities of Buda and Pest. Also, sailing the Danube, you pass through so many countries, each adding their own unique stamp to the river. However, one of my favourites is gliding past vineyards and marvelling at the bird song along the serene Moselle with its picturesque villages and sleepy towns. Any lesser-known river cruises you recommend?I love the Garonne because it is steeped in maritime history and flows alongside famous vineyards. I also cannot forget the Seine, from the charms of Paris to Versailles, Giverny, and Rouen. Then theres the Rhne with the heady scents and gastronomy of the south, the breathtaking scenery of the Ardche Gorge and the wildlife of the Camargue. Have I fallen in love with the rivers of Europe?
